1. Who we are

Edvengers ("we", "us") operates the AI Co-Teacher homework helper. We comply with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Contact us anytime via WhatsApp at +65 8394 6643.

2. What we collect

Account data: email address, chosen role (parent/teacher/student), child level(s), preferred language, and password (stored by Google Firebase Authentication — we never see it).

Homework questions: the text you type and photos you send are processed to generate a reply. We do not store homework photos. We keep anonymised usage records (question length, topic category, timestamps) — not the conversation text itself.

Usage data: feature events (e.g. sign-up, daily-limit reached, ratings you tap), device type, and approximate traffic source. We use non-reversible identifiers for abuse prevention.

Waitlist/feedback: name and contact details you choose to submit.

3. Children's data

The service is designed for parents and teachers. Student accounts are intended to be created by, or with the permission of, a parent or guardian, and we collect only the minimum needed (level, first-name-optional profile). We never sell personal data, never use children's data for advertising, and do not store their homework photos.

4. How AI processing works

Questions (including photos) are sent securely to Google's Gemini API to generate the reply, under Google's API data-use terms. They are not used by us to train AI models.

5. What we use data for

Providing and improving the service, enforcing free-tier limits fairly, preventing abuse, understanding which topics students struggle with (aggregated), and — with your consent — contacting you about your account or the Plus plan.

6. Sharing

We share data only with the processors that run the service: Google Firebase (hosting, authentication, database), Google Gemini API (AI replies), and — if you join the waitlist or Plus — our messaging (Twilio/WhatsApp) and payment (Stripe) providers. We never sell personal data.

7. Retention & deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. Anonymised usage records are kept for analytics. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time via the contact above; we will action it within 30 days.

8. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent (which may end the service for you). Contact us via WhatsApp at +65 8394 6643.
